Soldiers Spread Smiles in Jenggernok Village with Free Clothing Donation

Puncak - On Sunday, October 13, 2024, the Raider Infantry Battalion 323, part of the Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command HABEMA, made a special visit to Jenggernok Village in Puncak Regency, Papua. During their patrol, the soldiers not only focused on security but also brightened the day for local children by distributing free clothes.

Led by First Lieutenant Galang, the patrol was inspired by Commander Lieutenant Colonel Tri Wiratno’s message to make their mission meaningful. The soldiers took this to heart and engaged with the community, aiming to build trust and cooperation between the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI) and local residents.

The distribution of clothing brought joy to the Jenggernok community, especially the children and their parents. Maria Otimuka, a local mother, expressed her gratitude, saying, "Thank you for the free clothes for our children, Commander 323. God bless."

Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, the commanding general of HABEMA, commended the initiative, stating, "The 323 Task Forces’ actions show TNI’s commitment to positive engagement and community support in Papua." His recognition emphasizes the importance of such efforts in fostering development and hope in the region.

This heartwarming event not only provided essential clothing but also strengthened the bond between the military and the community, laying the groundwork for future cooperation and support.
